TradeZardz Terms of Service
Last updated: September 5, 2026
1. About These Terms
These Terms of Service apply when you access the TradeZardz website or purchase products from us.
Throughout these terms, “TradeZardz”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to:
TradeZardz Ltd
Registered in England and Wales
Company number: 17379747
Registered office: 17 Raynesway, Derby, England, DE24 0DW
General enquiries:
info@tradezardz.co.uk
Order enquiries:
orders@tradezardz.co.uk
Returns, refunds, damaged goods and order problems:
returns@tradezardz.co.uk
Our website is operated using the Shopify ecommerce platform.
By placing an order with us, you agree to the Terms of Service that apply at the time of your order.
Nothing in these terms excludes, limits or restricts your statutory consumer rights.
2. Using Our Website
You must use our website only for lawful purposes.
You must not:
-
use the website fraudulently or unlawfully;
-
attempt to interfere with its security or operation;
-
introduce viruses, malicious software or harmful code;
-
attempt to gain unauthorised access to restricted systems or information;
-
copy or commercially misuse our original website content without permission;
-
place fraudulent orders;
-
knowingly provide false information; or
-
use the website in a manner that could damage TradeZardz, our customers or other users.
We may reasonably restrict or suspend access where necessary to protect our website, customers, systems or business.
3. Eligibility to Purchase
You must be at least 18 years old to place an order yourself.
Where permitted, a purchase may be made with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian who accepts responsibility for the transaction.
You must provide accurate contact, billing and delivery information when placing an order.
4. Products and Product Descriptions
We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, availability information and prices are accurate.
Colours, packaging and other visual characteristics may appear slightly different because of:
-
screen settings;
-
manufacturer packaging changes;
-
production variations; or
-
different legitimate packaging versions.
Any material variation known to us will be stated where reasonably possible.
Unless expressly stated otherwise:
-
sealed products are supplied in their original factory packaging;
-
trading-card products may contain randomised contents;
-
product images may sometimes be illustrative;
-
no particular card, pull, rarity or monetary value is guaranteed;
-
manufacturer artwork and promotional packaging may vary between legitimate releases; and
-
manufacturer packaging may contain minor production or transit imperfections that do not necessarily make the product faulty.
Nothing in this section allows us to supply a materially different product from the one ordered.
If the precise cosmetic condition of collectible packaging is important to you, please contact us before purchasing.
5. Sealed and Randomised Trading-Card Products
Many products sold by TradeZardz contain randomised contents.
These may include:
-
booster packs;
-
booster boxes;
-
booster bundles;
-
Elite Trainer Boxes;
-
tins and mini tins;
-
collection boxes;
-
blister packs;
-
mystery products; and
-
similar sealed trading-card products.
Unless a product listing expressly states otherwise, purchasing a randomised product does not guarantee:
-
a particular card;
-
a particular rarity;
-
a particular pull rate;
-
a specific resale value; or
-
that the market value of the contents will equal or exceed the purchase price.
Manufacturer pull rates or published odds, where available, generally relate to large quantities and do not guarantee the contents of an individual product.
Dissatisfaction with the cards, pulls, rarity, selection or market value obtained from a genuinely randomised product does not by itself mean that the product was faulty or incorrectly supplied.
Where we expressly advertise a guaranteed minimum value or other guarantee for a TradeZardz mystery product, the terms stated on that product listing will apply.
Opening a sealed collectible product may substantially affect its value for the purposes of a change-of-mind return. Please see section 13 and our Returns & Refund Policy.
Your statutory rights remain unaffected where goods are faulty, counterfeit, damaged when supplied, incorrectly supplied or not as described.
6. Individual and Graded Trading Cards
Where we sell individual trading cards, we will describe their condition as accurately as reasonably possible.
Unless expressly guaranteed, subjective characteristics such as:
-
centring;
-
surface quality;
-
print quality;
-
potential grading outcome; or
-
future grading score
are not guaranteed.
A raw card sold as being in a particular condition is not guaranteed to achieve any particular grade from PSA, CGC, BGS, ACE or another grading company.
Where a professionally graded card is sold, we may record its grading company, certification number and other identifying information before dispatch.
We do not guarantee the future resale value of any trading card or collectible.
7. Prices
Prices are displayed in pounds sterling unless another currency is expressly shown.
Displayed prices include any taxes that we are legally required to charge unless expressly stated otherwise.
Delivery charges and any other applicable costs will be displayed before the order is completed.
We may correct an obvious pricing or product-information error before accepting an order.
If an obvious error affects an order you have already submitted, we may contact you and offer the choice of:
-
continuing with the order at the correct price; or
-
cancelling the affected order for a full refund.
We will not increase the agreed price after accepting an order.
8. Payment
Payment must be authorised using one of the payment methods made available at checkout.
Payments may be processed by Shopify or other payment-service providers.
An order may be declined if payment cannot be authorised or if a payment provider identifies a legitimate security or fraud concern.
9. Orders and Contract Formation
Submitting an order through our website is an offer to purchase products from us.
An automated order-confirmation email confirms that we have received your order. It does not necessarily mean that we have accepted it.
Unless we expressly state otherwise, the contract between you and TradeZardz is formed when we confirm dispatch or otherwise expressly confirm acceptance of your order.
Before acceptance, we may decline or cancel an order for legitimate reasons including:
-
a product being unavailable;
-
an obvious pricing or description error;
-
payment not being authorised;
-
suspected fraud or misuse;
-
delivery restrictions;
-
an order exceeding a stated purchase limit; or
-
circumstances that make fulfilment reasonably impossible.
If we cancel an order after taking payment, we will refund the appropriate amount to the original payment method.
10. Stock Availability and Purchase Limits
All products are subject to availability.
Placing an item in your basket does not reserve it.
On rare occasions, an item may sell out before our inventory system updates.
We may impose reasonable purchase limits on scarce or high-demand products.
Where applicable, purchase limits will be displayed on the product page, at checkout or otherwise communicated before the order is accepted.
If we cannot fulfil an accepted order, we will contact you and provide the appropriate refund.
11. Pre-Orders
Products clearly described as pre-orders are not immediately available for dispatch.
Any anticipated release or dispatch date is an estimate unless we expressly guarantee a particular date.
Release dates may change because of circumstances including:
-
manufacturer delays;
-
distributor delays;
-
allocation changes;
-
transportation delays; or
-
other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
If a significant delay occurs, we will provide appropriate information and any cancellation rights required by law.
A product displayed as in stock will not be treated as a pre-order unless this was made clear before the customer purchased it.
12. Delivery
Available delivery options, charges and estimated timescales will be shown at checkout.
Unless we agree otherwise, goods will normally be delivered within the period required by applicable consumer law.
Delivery dates and times are estimates unless we expressly agree that a particular date or time is guaranteed.
Unless an applicable legal exception applies, the goods remain our responsibility until they come into the physical possession of:
-
you; or
-
another person identified by you to receive the goods.
If you independently arrange a carrier that was not offered by TradeZardz, responsibility may transfer in accordance with applicable law when the goods are handed to that carrier.
If you provide a specific safe-place or alternative-delivery instruction, evidence that the parcel was delivered in accordance with your instruction may be relevant when investigating any subsequent delivery claim. Nothing in this provision removes any rights you have under consumer law.
You must provide a complete and accurate delivery address.
If you discover an address error, contact us as soon as possible at:
We cannot guarantee that delivery details can be changed once an order has been dispatched.
If an order is returned to us because the address supplied by the customer was incorrect, incomplete or inaccessible, we may require payment of reasonable additional delivery costs before resending it where permitted by law.
If an order is lost or damaged before responsibility has passed to you, please contact TradeZardz.
You are not required to pursue our chosen courier yourself.
13. Cancellations, Returns and Refunds
Our TradeZardz Returns & Refund Policy forms part of these Terms and provides more detailed information about cancellations, returns, refunds and diminished value.
Change-of-mind cancellation
For eligible online purchases, you normally have 14 days after receiving your goods to tell us that you wish to cancel the purchase.
After telling us that you wish to cancel, you normally have a further 14 days to return the goods.
To request a cancellation or return, contact:
You do not need to give a reason for exercising an applicable statutory change-of-mind cancellation right.
Where we have informed you before purchase that you are responsible for the direct cost of returning change-of-mind goods, you will normally be responsible for that cost unless otherwise required by law or agreed by us.
Handling goods
You may handle goods to the extent reasonably necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.
Where goods have been handled beyond what would reasonably be permitted when examining the same type of product in a shop, and that handling has reduced their value, TradeZardz may deduct the actual diminished value from the refund where permitted by law.
That deduction may be partial or, where the customer's handling has genuinely caused a loss equal to the full contract price, may be up to the full contract price.
This is a diminished-value assessment and not an automatic restocking fee.
Factory-sealed collectibles
The commercial value of many trading-card and collectible products depends substantially upon their remaining factory sealed.
Breaking factory shrink wrap, removing factory seals, opening booster packs, opening sealed internal contents or otherwise accessing the contents may go beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect the sealed collectible.
If such handling causes diminished value during a change-of-mind return, we may deduct the actual loss in value where permitted by law.
This is not an automatic rule that every opened product receives no refund.
Any deduction will depend upon the actual reduction in value caused by the customer's handling.
Faulty or incorrect goods
The change-of-mind rules above are separate from your statutory rights where goods are:
-
faulty;
-
damaged when supplied;
-
counterfeit;
-
incorrect;
-
materially not as described; or
-
otherwise not in conformity with the contract.
Nothing in these Terms or our Returns & Refund Policy removes those statutory rights.
14. Inspecting Your Delivery
Please inspect your order as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.
If a product appears damaged, faulty, counterfeit, incorrect or materially not as described, contact:
Please provide your order number and a description of the issue.
Where reasonably necessary, we may ask you to retain or provide photographs of:
-
the product;
-
internal packaging;
-
external packaging;
-
factory seals or shrink wrap;
-
the shipping label; and
-
the damage or problem concerned.
Prompt notification can help us investigate courier damage or fulfilment problems, but it does not remove or shorten your statutory consumer rights.
15. Return Inspection and Fraud Prevention
Returned products may be inspected before the final refund amount is determined.
Where appropriate, we may compare a returned product against information recorded before dispatch, including:
-
photographs;
-
factory seals and shrink wrap;
-
packaging condition;
-
tamper-evident markings;
-
grading certification numbers;
-
serial or batch information;
-
product characteristics;
-
product weights;
-
order records; and
-
dispatch information.
If a returned parcel contains substituted goods, missing contents, deliberately resealed products or other material inconsistencies, we may investigate the return before determining the refund.
We may preserve relevant evidence where we reasonably suspect fraud, including:
-
photographs;
-
video;
-
packaging;
-
weights;
-
identifying information;
-
delivery records;
-
payment records; and
-
customer correspondence.
Where appropriate and permitted by law, relevant evidence may be provided to:
-
payment providers;
-
delivery providers;
-
ecommerce platforms or marketplaces;
-
professional advisers;
-
law-enforcement bodies; or
-
other relevant organisations.
We may refuse a fraudulent claim where there is reasonable evidence supporting that decision.
Nothing in this section affects genuine consumer claims or statutory rights.
16. Refunds
Where a refund is due, it will normally be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction unless otherwise agreed.
For a valid change-of-mind cancellation, we will reimburse any standard outbound delivery charge that we are required by law to refund.
If you selected a more expensive delivery service than our least expensive standard option, we do not have to refund the additional amount above the standard delivery cost where permitted by law.
Where permitted, we may withhold reimbursement until:
-
we receive the returned goods; or
-
you provide evidence that the goods have been returned,
whichever occurs first.
Refunds will be processed within the period required by applicable law.
17. Promotions and Discount Codes
Promotions and discount codes may be subject to additional conditions displayed with the relevant offer.
Unless stated otherwise:
-
discount codes cannot be exchanged for cash;
-
only one discount code may be used per order;
-
codes must be used before their stated expiry;
-
discounts cannot normally be applied retrospectively; and
-
promotions remain subject to stock availability and any stated purchase limits.
We will not retrospectively withdraw a promotion from an order already accepted unless required by law, necessary to correct fraud or misuse, or agreed with the customer.
18. Gift Cards
Where TradeZardz offers gift cards, their use may be subject to additional conditions displayed when they are purchased.
Gift cards:
-
cannot normally be exchanged for cash except where required by law;
-
must be used in accordance with any applicable expiry or usage conditions disclosed before purchase; and
-
may not be resold or used fraudulently.
Nothing in this section restricts any statutory cancellation or consumer rights that apply to the purchase.
19. Intellectual Property
The TradeZardz name, original branding, website design, original photographs, written content and other original materials belong to TradeZardz Ltd or are used with appropriate permission.
You may not reproduce, distribute, sell or commercially exploit our original content without permission where that use would infringe our rights.
Third-party trademarks, trading-card names, character names, product artwork and other intellectual property remain the property of their respective owners.
Our sale or display of genuine branded products does not imply sponsorship, affiliation or endorsement by the intellectual-property owner unless expressly stated.
20. Third-Party Services and Links
Our website may use or link to third-party services including:
-
Shopify;
-
payment providers;
-
delivery providers; and
-
external websites.
We are not responsible for the independent content or privacy practices of third-party websites that we do not control.
Nothing in this section excludes our responsibility for third-party services that we use to fulfil our contractual obligations to you where the law makes us responsible.
21. Privacy and Personal Information
We process personal information in accordance with our TradeZardz Privacy Policy.
Information may be shared with service providers where reasonably necessary to:
-
process payments;
-
fulfil orders;
-
arrange delivery;
-
prevent or investigate fraud;
-
administer returns;
-
provide customer support; or
-
meet legal obligations.
For privacy or data-protection enquiries, contact:
22. Our Responsibility to You
We are responsible for foreseeable loss or damage caused by our breach of these Terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill.
We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.
In particular, we do not exclude liability for:
-
death or personal injury caused by negligence;
-
fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation;
-
goods that do not meet applicable statutory requirements;
-
goods that are not as described;
-
goods that we do not have the legal right to sell; or
-
any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.
Trading cards and collectibles should not be treated as guaranteed financial investments.
Past or current market prices do not guarantee future values.
Changes in collectible-market values are outside TradeZardz's control.
23. Events Outside Our Reasonable Control
We are not responsible for a delay or failure caused by circumstances genuinely outside our reasonable control to the extent permitted by law.
If this occurs, we will take reasonable steps to reduce the effect of the disruption and will contact affected customers where appropriate.
This does not remove any cancellation, delivery or refund rights that apply under consumer law.
24. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to:
-
our business;
-
our website;
-
our products or services;
-
applicable law; or
-
operational requirements.
Updated Terms apply from the date they are published.
Changes will not retrospectively alter the agreed terms of an order that has already been accepted unless:
-
required by law; or
-
expressly agreed with you.
25. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
26. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you live in another part of the United Kingdom, you retain any mandatory consumer protections and rights to bring proceedings that apply in the part of the United Kingdom where you live.
If you have a complaint, please contact us first so that we can attempt to resolve it directly.
